Get ready for Richmond’s only co-ed roller derby league to tear it up once again. The Richmond Derby Demons are hosting Chesapeake Roller Derby for their first visit to the capital city, so watch out, this game will be one for the books.

The Richmond Derby Demons Present: Dead Man’s Jam.

It’s the Richmond Derby Demons (RDD, demons) v/s Chesapeake Roller Derby (CRD, pirates). This event takes place Saturday, May 30th, 2010 at Rollerdome, 4902 Williamsburg Rd, Richmond VA 23231. Doors open at 5:00pm, game begins at 5:30pm Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Advance tickets will be available at Plan 9 and Rollerdome.  All ages are welcome. Come be a part of the derby revival- skating the way derby was intended. The Richmond Derby Demons are members of the Old School Derby Association (OSDA) and proudly skate by the old school rule set. The pirates have been waiting to sail south of the Mason-Dixon line to see what their rivals have cooked up for this full scale battle. Last March these two teams fought it out to a final score of RDD 39, CRD 32. It promises to be one hard hitting, fast paced derby extravaganza again here on our own land!
